P/On
From PVirtWiki
(Redirected from Non-sensitive)
In scientific literature, there is no accepted term for the real world other than "reality." Many P/Virts, however, consider the real world to just be another possible reality, or at least want an easy term to refer to it. The Chicago P/Virt community popularized the term "Philosophical/Ontological Reality," to refer to the real world. It's likely that this name was chosen less for clarity or accuracy than because it shortens to "P/On." Thus, in P/Speak, anyone who is not a P/Virt is a P/On.
The term is at least mildly derogatory, and in polite company it is safer to use the word "non-sensitive" to refer to those who are not philosophically sensitive.
